Does 2048 need graphics optimization?

Start with input and page responsiveness rather than 3D settings. Keep the board visible, focus the page and use its arrow-key or swipe controls. If several tabs are also slow, close busy ones. Avoid clearing site data simply to troubleshoot a missed move; it can remove locally stored progress.

What browser checks should I try for 2048?

Keep the game tab visible and pause other games or video. If Chrome Energy Saver is active, compare with it off while plugged in; restore it if there is no benefit. Change one thing at a time and repeat the same scene. Export any available save backup before clearing site data or switching browser profiles.
